According to ads, featured will be baked goods, handmade gifts, treasures, plants and much more. Luncheon will be served next door at Holy Cross (Episcopal) Church in the parish hall beginning at 11:30 a.m. and will continue until all have been seated. Reservations are not required. THURSDAY, OCT. 30,1980 Special Meeting The Tryon Board of Commissioners will have a special meeting Wednesday, Nov. Sth at 7 p.m at the Tryon Town Hall. The Board will go into executive session for the purposes of discussion of land acquisition. The Town of Tryon is building a sidewalk from Carolina Drive exit on South Trade Street to Dr. Bond's office. Move Here Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Sparr, formerly of Pound Ridge, N. Y. have moved here from Hendersonville where they have been staying while their home was being built at Many Levels in the Hunting Country. Mr. Sparr retired in 1978 from a mining company. A native of Montana, he was reared in Colorado and is a graduate of Colorado School of Mines. He enjoys woodworking and reading Mrs. Sparr is the former Dorcas Ray of Sturbridge, Mass.
